The Author's Mission

Documenting the Crisis and Defending Tradition

Noticing the fragmentation among traditional Catholics, Griff initially set out to write a simple "Who's Who" guide to unite the movement. However, a friend challenged him, stating that his book would be superficial unless it resolved the sharp theological disagreements underlying the crisis in the Church.
Accepting the challenge, Griff applied his forensic and logical expertise to the infallible Magisterial documents of the Church. The result was his breakthrough first book, The Resurrection of the Roman Catholic Church. He later expanded this research into his monumental Sede Vacante! series, providing a systematic, uniquely extensive, and doctrinally-structured defense of the sedevacantist finding. Today, Griff writes not for academic prestige, but as a "humble searcher" dedicated to answering the toughest ecclesiological questions of our time

The Resurrection of the Roman Catholic Church

A Guide to the Traditional Catholic Community

Can the real Catholic Church be found today, and if so, where?
For nearly two thousand years, the Roman Catholic Church maintained a closely guarded orthodoxy, but for many, it seems as if that was swept away by Vatican II. This inspiring compendium chronicles the crisis in the Church over the past 60 years. Rather than fostering division, Griff Ruby takes the reader on a journey of common sense, dispelling myths and rumors while charitably examining the various groups of the Traditional Catholic movement. Using vivid analogies—such as the “Tale of Two Ships” and the “parable of the tree”—Ruby provides a tremendous source of hope, proving that the true Church still resides in the traditions of Holy Mother Church.

Review Highlight: “An excellent, lucid, understandable and concise compendium on the Traditional Catholic Cause.” — Michael Cain, Editor, The Daily Catholic.

Sede Vacante Part One

Dogmatic Ecclesiology Applied to Our Times

Does the Catholic Church really have a pope today?

A uniquely extensive, doctrinally-structured crash course in Catholic Ecclesiology exploring the ‘Sede Vacante’ finding. Moving beyond merely listing the errors of recent papal claimants, Ruby explains that the post-Vatican II crisis must be examined through dogmatic ecclesiology. He organizes this volume around 16 distinct Catholic doctrinal categories—including the Indefectibility of the Church, Papal Infallibility, and the Four Marks of the Church. Using each doctrine as a lens, Ruby demonstrates how the modern “Conciliar Church” has defected from the faith, behaving as a separate society incapable of supplying the Church with a valid Pope.

Review Highlight: “It’s a thought-provoking book with some interesting and at times controversial viewpoints… I would be interested to hear what the hierarchy in the Vatican would say about this book.” — JT Crowley, Talking Books Podcast

Sede Vacante Part Two

The Lumen Gentium Theory About Our Present Ecclesial Circumstance

Unraveling the theological implications of Vatican II’s Lumen Gentium.

In this essential second volume, Griff Ruby continues his rigorous theological studies. Building upon the foundational 16 doctrinal categories established  in Part One, this book zeroes in on the specific theories surrounding the Vatican II document Lumen Gentium. It meticulously explores how this theory applies to our present ecclesial circumstances, answering the remaining complex questions about the hierarchy, authority, and the structural reality of the modern Church
